More than just
an idea.

An effective, engaging program proposal needs to be well thought through and should succinctly address elements such as programming objectives, resourcing and compatibility with Sunshine FM’s audience.

Our audience loves their music.

Sunshine FM isn’t dominated by big blocks of Talk. We believe the station’s high level of listener satisfaction and engagement are built on a foundation of music-based programming tailored to a mature 45+ audience.

Send us your
demo reel.

Ideally, proposals will include audio samples of the segment or program concept, as well as presenter voice work. Your mp3 file can be emailed or linked via providers such as Dropbox to programs@sunshinefm.com.au

And finally…

By submitting a proposal, you accept that elements of your proposal may, in part or whole, be present in existing or future Sunshine FM programming, and that you have no claim or entitlement in relation to that programming content. Incomplete proposals will be returned with an explanatory note. If a proposal is declined, we will consider that proposal round closed.

Submit your proposal.

Please read the Sunshine FM Programming Policy, then send us your Program Proposal form. You can complete the form by clicking on the button below, then print and send it to us. You can also download the proposal form here.

Forms can be emailed to programs@sunshinefm.com.au or mailed to PO Box 1049, Buderim, QLD, 4556. We look forward to hearing from you.

Next steps.

Local focus.

Sunshine FM’s has a commitment to locally-sourced programs, so preference is given to proposals from within our coverage area.

Local review.

A program committee meets quarterly to review proposals. We’ll let you know the outcome after the next committee meeting.

Local decision.

We review every proposal sent to us but the Committee and Sunshine FM are not obliged to proceed with every proposal we receive.
