Graham Webb - Breakfast Presenter
Graham is the station's very popular breakfast presenter. His first job was as a telegram boy at Sydney's Royal Exchange Post Office. However, he soon discovered that radio was his forte. With over 54 years in the business, Graham is a pioneer of Sydney Radio, England's Pirate Radio Station, Radio Caroline and 104.9 Sunshine FM!

Paul Fagan - Sunday Evening Presenter
In his program between 6 and 7 pm on Sundays Paul showcases local artists. Paul began playing the guitar at 16 and completed the first year of a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies. He has played in all types of bands including Frankie and the Highlighters, Ronnie Burns Band and Herb Armstrong's Jazz Cats. Paul also appears as a solo artist. He has written original scores for films and advertisements. He also hopes to publish a guitar method book in the near future. He has also released a solo album "Street Swinging" and wrote and performed an album of Rockabilly tunes for the Hi Tones. Paul currently teaches guitar, freelance composes and records.

Ray Johnson - Production Manager
Involved in the media since 1973 in Darwin, Ray was originally in theatre production until Cyclone Tracey influenced an interest in local television. Returning later to Queensland, Ray made the move to radio 4KQ, and in the early 1980's came to the Sunshine Coast where he worked at 4NA Nambour. Ray now volunteers his services as Sunshine FM's Office Manager, booth operator, sound engineer and trouble-shooter. An indispensible person indeed! You can listen to Ray on the Sunday morning breakfast show.

Doug Mahony - Computer Programmer
Doug hails from Sydney where he worked in the computer industry before arriving on the Sunshine Coast in 2002 where he ran a health food store and lunch bar in Cotton Tree for four years. Now in semi retirement, Doug spends time with Sunshine FM setting up computer files for the new Playlist program. Married with one adult son, Doug and his wife Linda spend their leisure time tending 180 mango trees on their ten acre property at Rosemount.

Renate Burnell - Sound of Germany Program
Renate came from Germany in 1970. She has four grown up children now raising their own families. In November 2003, Graham and the German Club Sunshine Coast asked her to be the host of the program. She enjoys it very much and pleases her listeners with music from old times.

Liz Beer - Web Master
From Middlesex to Melbourne, Nagambie to Darwin and with a background in administration, local government, teaching and selling wine, Liz now concentrates on being a grandma and volunteering!

Lindsay Norgrove - Community Service Announcements
Lindsay is the voice behind many of our Community Service Announcements. Having worked for twenty years with the ABC in Sydney, Lindsay has broadcasting in his blood! He was a technical engineer involved with radio and TV studios in the Opera House and Old Parliament House, Canberra. Now happily retired and living in Buderim Garden Village Lindsay and his wife Bev enjoy the good life and caravanning.

Ken Leitch - Technical Support
Ken retired to the Sunshine Coast hinterland and became a 104.9 Sunshine FM technical volunteer soon after the first test broadcasts went to air. As he lives only 5kms from the transmitter at Bald Knob Ken is able to speedily restore any off air transmitter faults. He was involved with 4CRB Gold Coast, (the first community radio station in Queensland) as volunteer station technician for 18 years plus 3 years as paid production technician. His former employment with PMG/Telecom involved repair work on ABC Radio stations at Eidsvold - near Gayndah, and 4SO Southport on the Gold Coast.

George Horvath - Photographer
A lifelong interest in photography has earned George the position of volunteer photographer with Sunshine FM. He is undertaking an important project in expanding the station's photographic record of its service to the community.

Iris Brown - Scheduling
After selling her takeaway shop at Willowbank near the RAAF base, Iris moved to the Sunshine Coast. For a short time she had a sandwich bar in Nambour. She has been a volunteer at 104.9 Sunshine FM for almost three years – although she knew nothing about computers then she is very skilled now! She and her husband have 2 children, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren so she is a very busy lady!

Nettie Knox - Community Service Announcement Coordinator
After spending 30 years working in school finance and administration, Nettie is delighted to find herself volunteering in radio, a completely new area of interest.Nettie and her husband moved to the Sunshine Coast 17 years ago, from the Redcliffe Peninsula, where they lived for nearly twenty years with their two children. She is also involved in other volunteering, and sings with local community choir, Oriana Concert Choir.

Maurice Briggs - Handyman
Maurice started work as an engineering apprentice at fourteen and a half. At eighteen he did two year's National Service with the RAF. On returning to civilian life he continued in engineering with a flair for design and invention. His hobbies are music and woodwork combining both as a musical instrument maker having been an active member of the Australian Association of Musical Instrument Makers.

Daphne Seaman - Part Time Receptionist
Daphne emigrated from England to Wagga Wagga in 1968 and after two years moved to Adelaide where she lived for twenty years. Daphne and her husband are now retired and are involved in many voluntary roles. They are also members of U3A.

Sharon Pallett - Program Editing and Scheduling Assistant
Sharon and her husband and three children moved to the Sunshine Coast from New Zealand. Volunteering at 104 .9 Sunshine FM has been a great way to meet new people and learn more about this wonderful region.

Sandra Condon - Program Editing and Scheduling Assistant
Sandra moved to the Sunshine Coast from Brisbane several years ago following a career in banking and fashion retailing. From the UK where she lived for twelve years she travelled extensively to all parts of the globe. Sandra assists with editing and scheduling in our Buderim studio. She is a very active member of the Sunshine Coast branch of U3A.
